Our Courses

The Ideal Program uses the General English course. The General English course has 8 levels that focus on improving conversation skills. Each level takes 16 weeks to complete. Students will take a placement test to determine which level they will enroll in. The progress of the student will be evaluated throughout each level and there is an exam at the end of each level that will determine their advancement.

Our courses focus on speaking and listening: You will learn a new language just like you learned your native/first language – in a very natural way

Small groups: You learn and practice English with other students that are the same level as you. Small groups offer high interaction with your classmates and instructor. You start conversing in English with various people from the very beginning.

2 Steps to Start

1. What English Programs do we offer?

  • Intensive English:
    AM Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:45am – 1:15pm
    PM Schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:00pm – 10:30pm
  • Semi-Intensive English:
    Part-Time Monday to Thursday:
    • 10 Hours per Week
    • 2.5 Hours per Day

    Part-Time (2 days) Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday:

    • 5 hours per week

    Part-Time (1 day) Saturday:

    • 5 hours per week

2. What are the admission requirements?

  • Student must be 18 or older or have a high school diploma.
  • Complete “Contact Us” Form on website.
  • Recruiting will make an appointment with you.
  • Bring a State ID or Passport.
  • Complete Student Registration.
  • Pay Registration Fee and 1st Tuition Installment.
  • Take Placement Test.
  • Attend New Student Orientation.

New students are required to attend an academic orientation in which all school policies and procedures will be explained.

Counseling

At the end of the first week, you will have your first counseling session to ensure student satisfaction and that you are placed at the right level.

Extracurricular Activities

You will be provided with a list/calendar of all activities offered to students throughout the year. We encourage you to attend the events at least once a month.

Students will have access to Wi-Fi internet at all times.

Assistance in Native Language:

Most of our staff members are trilingual in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. If you need assistance in any other language, we will provide translation services.

  • We offer classes in the morning, afternoon and night shifts.
  • Classes in the morning shift are from 9:00am to 11:00am from Monday to Thursday.
  • Classes in the late morning shift are from 11:00am to 1:00pm from Monday to Thursday.
  • Classes in the afternoon shift are from 5:00pm to 7:00pm from Monday to Thursday.

Yes, all students take a placement test with the Academic Director before starting to study English to know which class/level they will enter.

3. Do we receive a certificate at the end of the course?

Yes, at the end of each level, students receive a certificate of completion.
